Some of the snow melted away at pass level - about 5" left at Hyak, but we still have groomed skiing up at 3500' on Amabilis. Even though winter is visiting the midwest and east this year, we still have events on the calendar for our areas.

Next on tap is the event at Cabin Creek this weekend.

As Tim Foss moves on, we welcome Lauren DuRocher in his place. Lauren is with the Cle Elum Ranger District after time spent in New Hampshires White Mtns. She is running the campground program. I'll try to get a proper bio for next week.
