Well, we lost the cold temps and are now in a monsoon pattern. Oh so typical. What this means is skiing can still be great, just bring some glide wax with you.

Plenty of events this weekend - Something for everyone:

On tap for Saturday:

Hyak – Jente Loppet course (see map on Hyak page) grooming

Erling Stordahl – Ski for Light (side by side set tracks)

Meany Lodge Spring Carnival

Sunday:

Dog Days of Winter at Crystal Springs

Cabin Creek – Ozbaldy race

Meany Lodge Spring Carnival

Postponed until Sunday March 16th is the Snoqualmie Loppet – Ski tour from Hyak to Cabin Creek. Details on Facebook or here

Links are on event page here

A side note - grooming in these conditions sometimes does more harm than good, so just be aware. Some of the snowmobile routes are on hold and today Cabin Creek is on hold. Salmon La Sac was groomed Monday with a big cat so that should be good.
