Fantastic cold weather! Such a nice change from recent years of warm winters. I just heard it was super quiet up on the pass today, and oh so pretty out.
The photo is taken in the Erling Stordahl trail system with grooming set for Ski For Light..
The grooming schedule and the event calendar were tweaked a tiny bit.
Events for the upcoming Martin Luther King holiday weekend:
Saturday the first Ski For Light at Erling Stordahl. The trail has side by side tracks for classic skiing. If you like to ski and yak, Erling is the place to be this weekend.
Sunday - first race of the season - the Gunnar Hagen - sponsored by Kongsbergers Ski Club at Cabin Creek Sno-Park. It will be a very busy weekend there so if you are not participating maybe try another Sno-Park.
Monday - kids race at Cabin Creek, also sponsored by Kongsbergers Ski Club.

A great opportunity to day trip up to the amazing huts with views of Mt Rainier. Check it out.
Last tidbit - dog sled trails will be groomed on Saturday AM instead of Friday this week.
