Well, this was an unusual week. Nothing changed. How often do the conditions up in the corridor stay virtually the same all week?

Northwest Avalanche Center's mountain forecast gives us hope for a tiny bit of snow overnight Friday with a lowering snow level. All groomer operators are ready to get to work and will, as soon as there is enough snow to cover obstacles, and roads are closed to vehicles.

Cabin Creek has pretty buffed trails for grooming in low snow and the lower trails are groomed and skiable. Up on Amabilis you should still find some good conditions and a bit more snow.

Start planning, activities start right after the holidays, and Ski for Light is scheduled for Erling Stordahl on Saturday the 6th. The first big race of the season, sponsored by Kongsbergers Ski club, is at Cabin Creek on Sunday the 7th. You can find all the club links here.

Website links all work, but I am still updating and working on the event calendar.
